Hey Cornerstone Family,
Travis and I spent last week in Haiti with Pastor Yvan Pierre, and I have a really special opportunity we can all be a part of this holiday season. Take a moment and read Pastor Pierre's letter and commit to sponsoring a child through International Christian Development Mission this Christmas.
“Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be for all people” (Luke 2:10).
Dear International Christian Development Mission (ICDM) Friend,
As I write this letter, it is only 51 days until Christmas. Children and grandchildren are already making wish lists in anticipation of this special day of giving when we celebrate God’s gift of His Son for all people. Even in this down economy, children are filling those lists with expensive items like video games, CD players, robotic toys, bicycles, and even motorized cars and trucks.
The children of Bayonnais will feel blessed if they have a plate of rice and beans on Christmas Day – for without their school lunch, Christmas vacation could mean a week of increased hunger. Their school lunch is the only meal of the day for many of these children.
This is why we plan a weeklong Christmas celebration, with food, fun, special programs, and even a small gift for each child.
Beyond Bayonnais, our vision is to help provide Christmas cheer for 3,000 neediest children in our affiliated churches. With your generosity, and in partnership with our Haitian churches, we can do this! Each child will receive a satisfying meal and a small gift. Games, drama and stories will bring to life the Christmas message of love and hope – and feed their hungry hearts.
As you celebrate the birth of Jesus, would you please consider a special gift to help with this Christmas celebration for the children? Ten dollars will provide Christmas for one child. $50 will bring Christmas to five children.
Please send your check designated for "Christmas Celebration" to

On behalf of Jesus and the children of Haiti, thank you so much. May you and your family enjoy a most blessed Christmas season and a joyous New Year.
Yours in Christ,
