Cornerstone Kids Preschool Director
From the time I began understanding words as a child, I was familiar with the name of Jesus. My parents raised me in a small church in northeast Ohio where the whole church body became family. Throughout my childhood, seeds of truth were planted in my heart through the many members of our fellowship pouring into my life and raising me on the Word of God. I am so thankful for the truth of Jesus being poured into my heart from a young age, because when I got old enough to wander my own way, it was through those words of life that God captivated my heart and drew me back to himself. I began questioning my faith in God as a teenager and walked away from Him as I searched for truth. Through attending college at Charleston Southern University, my eyes were opened to see my need for Jesus and that true life is only found in Him. Being submerged in a community of believers, I began falling in love with my Savior and learning the joy of surrendering my life and abiding in the light of His presence.
I am passionate about investing into the lives of little ones because I believe they are so valuable in God's sight! They are precious gifts to us adults and it is my greatest joy to watch them grow in their love and understanding of Jesus. It is such a blessing in my life to see God's heart displayed through their childlike faith and purity. I just graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2017 and moved to Bluffton to be with my family. After studying communication and Christian Missions/Church Planting, I had no idea what was next, but I knew I always loved working with children. Before I knew it, God so faithfully provided an opportunity to serve families in Cornerstone Kids and I am so excited about what He is doing here!
I love to adventure, read, do arts and crafts, spend time in nature and with people. I believe the most beautiful journey is discovering more and more of the heart of Christ.
