Asst. Director of Sonshine Preschool
I was adopted into a Christian home at the age of four, and accepted Jesus as my personal Savior at our church camp when I was eight. My teenage summers were spent working at the camp, and hearing wonderful Bible teaching messages each evening. I would not have changed my growing up years in any way. Being surrounded by people who loved and served the Lord daily is a joyful life.
When Sonshine Preschool opened, I asked Keri if she needed any help on a volunteer basis. I had 30 years experience as a special education teacher. I had always been active in children’s work at our church, before our move from Pennsylvania, and really missed being involved on a daily basis with little people. What a fantastic opportunity this has been. I love my job as Keri’s assistant and being the ”go to” person for our teachers. Most of all I love the environment created for these sweet children that are part of the Sonshine family.
My husband Stuart and I have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. I Volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity Restore two days a week and love being at home cooking and yes I like cleaning.
