STUDENT MINISTRY VOLUNTEER

**All Student Ministry Volunteers must fill out an application & background check!


SPECIAL EVENTS TEAM MEMBER

Time Commitment: As needed basis for various special events.

Expectations: Perform necessary tasks for special events as assigned by the Student Pastor. Duties could include but are not limited to; food service, chaperoning, and set-up/tear down. Responsible to Student Pastor.

TECH TEAM MEMBER

Time Commitment: Sundays 5:15-8pm/Special Events

Expectations: Be proficient at running sound/propresenter and troubleshooting. Follow along appropriately with sermon notes as well as any directions of the  Tech Team Leader. 

Responsible to: Tech Team Leader/Student Pastor

SECURITY TEAM MEMBER

Time Commitment: Sundays 5:15-8pm/Special Events

Expectations: Ensure that all Family Life Center doors are locked except for the entry doors on Church St. side. Ensure that once students arrive, they do not go outside unless given permission to do so. During meeting times, ensuring that students using the restroom are using the restroom and not wandering the Family Life Center.

Responsible to: Security Team Leader/Student Pastor

CONNECTIONS TEAM MEMBER

Time Commitment: Sundays 5:15-8pm/Special Events

Expectations: Ensure check-in stations are set up and lobby TV is displaying current weeks announcement slides. Ensure all returning students sign-in using breeze and new students complete Breeze form. Duties also include making sure that new students receive a welcome gift and the check-in station is put away.  

Responsible to: Connections Team Leader/Student Pastor

CAFE TEAM MEMBER

Time Commitment: Sundays 5:15-8pm/Special Events as needed

Expectations: Ensure food/drinks are set-up prior to service and cleaned up after. Set-up and run the snack bar from 5:50-6:20. Reports to Student Pastor.


SMALL GROUP LEADER

Expectations: Spend time each week in preparation for your small group time. Facilitate small group time and help students to take their faith to the next level. Contact students at least once per month via instagram, text, phone call, letter outside of regular meeting times. Organize at least one small group event per year to encourage community (laser tag, lunch after church, game night, etc.
